Helping NET Strut Their Stuff
Since 1995, NET Ministries has set out on a mission to Challenge young Catholics to love Christ and embrace the life of the Church. The staff at NET understood that in order to accomplish their mission they need to communicate their message in a professional and consistent manner. To accomplish this, NET needed to hire a professional agency. They found Holds Worth Design after being recommended to us by a friend from NET Ireland and thus began our 5 year journey.
Determining the Best Course of Action
Designing NET’s many communication elements was an ongoing process that took place over the course of several years. We worked closely with their executive team to understand their goals, audience and budget and to help guide them team in deciding what promotional efforts would be most effective.
Gradually Strutting Their Stuff
We started by working with them to develop their promotional posters, recruiting brochures and business stationary. In 2012 we designed and built their website, maintaining the same branding elements used in their other promotion materials. We then worked with them on an ongoing basis to update their website with new home page banners and other design work. Then, in 2014, NET decided that they would hire us on an ongoing basis to work directly with their marketing team and brainstorm new ways to engage their audience. This eventually led to the proposition of enhancing their current website to be more dynamic and user friendly, and in May 2015 we launched their new Website.
Engaging Their Audience
One of the most effective ways to engage an audience is by providing new and engaging content. NET’s new website gives their staff the ability to more easily update the site with its front end editing functionality. Usability was an important factor because they needed their staff to be able to update their content on a regular basis, especially with their blog so their audience had fresh and relevant content. The new site was also created using responsive design techniques which means that the site is optimized for all screen sizes including mobile phones.
Looking Forward to the Future
NET is a great example of an organization that understood the importance of branded communications and presenting their offerings in a unique and professional way. It was a real pleasure to be able to work with them and to help tell the world about the amazing work that they do.
