Fundraising to Support Women’s Choices
Canada is a country with “pro choice” values but when it comes to supporting women who find themselves unable to cope with an unexpected pregnancy, our system really only supports one choice: abortion. Many women don’t want to be forced to make that decision but don’t know what else to do. Edmonton Pregnancy Crisis center exists to help women understand all of their options. In instances where they choose to give life to the child, EPCC provides support where our healthcare system does not.
To help provide those supports, EPCC organizes a fundraising appeal every year on Mother’s day by selling roses with proceeds going to support the centre. This year, EPCC decided to expand their promotional efforts to help get the word out about the appeal. We got involved by designing posters, ads, and leave-behinds that would ensure that the appeal was recognized and remembered.
