NET Ministries had an existing logo, but struggled to maintain consistency among their marketing materials. We introduced a concept for their print design materials that would also translate into digital media such as their web design strategy. The result provided a more established and consistent brand which enhanced their message and their logo.

The ELM poster was one of the promotional pieces that were part of the ELM campaign which is a prolific suicide prevention campaign that we produced. To read more about the whole campaign, visit the case study.

The poster was featured in Churches and Catholic-owned buildings throughout the Archdiocese of Edmonton to help promote awareness of the campaign and to drive traffic to the website and the social media pages which also featured the campaign video.

The 5 for 5 Plan Revealed

During the 2013 Edmonton Municipal Election, Rob Hennigar made a run for city council in Ward 5. Holds Worth Design was engaged to provide a foundational strategy for the brand, communication materials, and messaging. We designed a series of bold, eye catching signs, leave behinds, postcards, business cards, and even a bus wrap. Needless to say, Rob garnered a lot of attention by breaking free from the mold of generic political campaign materials.

Supporting Signs of Hope

Sign of Hope is Catholic Social Services’ (CSS) branded appeal effort. This year, they asked us to help them design a mailer that would get noticed instead of tossed in the recycle bin. Working with their communications team, we designed a mailer around the theme of opening doors which is exactly what CSS does for so many under privileged individuals and families. As the theme implies, we designed staggered pages with different kinds of doors that the viewer would open to reveal the various opportunities that CSS creates.

Fundraising to Support Women’s Choices

Canada is a country with “pro choice” values but when it comes to supporting women who find themselves unable to cope with an unexpected pregnancy, our system really only supports one choice: abortion. Many women don’t want to be forced to make that decision but don’t know what else to do. Edmonton Pregnancy Crisis center exists to help women understand all of their options. In instances where they choose to give life to the child, EPCC provides support where our healthcare system does not.

To help provide those supports, EPCC organizes a fundraising appeal every year on Mother’s day by selling roses with proceeds going to support the centre. This year, EPCC decided to expand their promotional efforts to help get the word out about the appeal. We got involved by designing posters, ads, and leave-behinds that would ensure that the appeal was recognized and remembered.
